Eula (Therrien) Foster, 91, of Bristol, widow of Cecil C. Foster, passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2023. Born on December 9, 1931 in Middlesex, VT, she was a daughter of the late James and Ethel (Morey) Therrien. Eula was a teacher in the Bristol Public School system for over thirty years. She had been a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Forestville since 1953 and has been very dedicated to her church family since then. She enjoyed traveling North America with her husband and would stop at various antique stores to peruse their collections of antiques. Eula enjoyed time with her family; hosting family dinners and spending time listening to her children’s and grandchildren’s stories and telling them of her own adventures. Eula is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Cecil and Janet Foster of Bristol, VT; her daughters and sons-in-law Debra Foster-Brunst and her husband George Brunst of Pompano Beach, FL and Heidi Borkowski and her husband Gardner Wright of Bristol, CT; her grandchildren Dr. Elizabeth Kellett (Jeremy), Jordan Brunst (Becca), and Andrew Foster (Samantha); her great grandchildren Cecilia, Anne, Jeremy Jr., Eleanora, Theodore, and Wyatt and several nieces and nephews. Eula was predeceased by one sister and eight brothers. Eula’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Bristol Health Homecare and Hospice for their wonderful care of Eula. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, at 10am at Asbury United Methodist Church, 90 Church Ave., Forestville. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours.
