Edgard Dube, 93, of Bristol, widower of Rena C. (Violette) Dube, passed away peacefully at Shady Oaks Assisted Living on January 4, 2023. Born on February 4, 1929 in Bristol, CT, he was a son of the late Omer and Antoinette (Turcotte) Dube. Edgard was a U.S. Airforce veteran who served our country honorably as a sergeant during the Korean Conflict. After his service, Edgard went to work for G.E. in their Drafting and Engineering Department. He worked at the company for over 30 years. Edgard is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Brian and Carol Dube of Wolcott, CT; four daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Joel Templeton of Murrells Inlet, SC, Lisa and David Anderson of Bristol, CT, Sandra and Glenn White of Madisonville, TN, and Stacey and Jessie Gallagher of Bristol, CT; his brother Joseph Dube of Bristol, CT; his sister Cynthia Dube of Southington, CT; eleven grandchildren Brett, Todd, Amber, Cory, Simone, Athena, Huckleberry, Fiona, Shilleleigh, Calliope, and Atticus; one great grandchild Harper and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother René Dube. A funeral mass will be held January 21 at 10am at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours.
