Veronica D. Brooks, 54, of Bristol, passed away at home peacefully on September 3, 2022. Born on September 6, 1967 in Bristol, CT, she was a daughter of Dorothy (Pearson) Brooks and the late Frederick Brooks, Sr. For most of her life, Veronica worked as a Home Health Aid for several local agencies, including Allied Health. Veronica loved to go shopping. Whether it be for clothing, shoes, or just window shopping, it was something that she very much enjoyed. While working in the healthcare field, tending to her patients brought her much joy. Veronica is predeceased by her daughter Shajuana Cordero. Calling hours will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10am-12pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. A funeral service will follow starting at 12pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Veronica’s mother Dorothy or to her sister Shonda to help offset the cost of services.
