Dear Phil Louie & Paul;
I'm so sorry for your loss. The thing I remember most is being reffered to Eddie Haskel when i was around your mom but in truth I always had the highest respect for her. I remember my sister Cathy just loved her. Today your mom is in my prayers. Steve

Mrs. Pirro was one of my favorite teachers as a child. I had her at Prospect Street School in Terryville. When I went on to Junior High and High School I would often get out of school and on my way home stop off at Prospect Street School and visit my old teachers. I always found it (and find it) remarkable how your old teachers remember their students year after year. She had a beautiful demeanor and great smile.I enjoyed her in the day and have fond memories of her now. I was just talking about her last Tuesday. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, peace and grace be with you in this trying time.

My sincere condolences for your loss. Your mom was a dear friend to my grandmother and always made a point of visiting her. This meant a lot to her.

Lou, Phil, Paul:
So sorry to hear about your Mom, my Aunt Tally.
Living out of state now, I was lucky to see her in January at my Dad's(Dominick Pirro)90th birthday party.
She looked in good spirits, and I remember her getting up for a dance or two.
I still remember the Pirro gatherings in Bristol on Ingraham Street, and for a while at Page Park with your Mom and all of you guys.
And I can't forget our trips to Verdile's for shoes every year either. There were many good direct and indirect family memories.
Even though Tally is in a better place now, I'll always have memories of our visits in Bristol and Wolcott; and how she loved her Italian Provencial furniture and her new home in Wolcott. She deserved all of it.
And, boy could she COOK! It was just a joy to experience her cooking talents when visiting. You always knew you would get the best of the old world Italian, and she never, never came to visit our family without bringing one of her specialties.
She will be missed, but there are many lasting memories that can't be taken from any of us!
CIAO, Italia!
Your Nephew, Stefano!
