So many happy memories associated with Uncle Ed and the family. I'd like to think of him at the piano surrounded by his brothers and sisters and , of course, the "outlaws" playing those old sweet songs. Weren't we lucky to have experienced that!

So sorry to hear of Uncle Ed's passing. I have some great memories of the good times listening to his incredible music talent on the piano leading all in song. He can now join the family chorus in heaven.

I became a member of the Edward Monahan family when I started highschool and become friends with Peg in our Freshman year at BCHS. I have to say that one of the best parts of having this family as an extended family was Mr. "Dad" Monahan. He was the ruler of the roost however, everyone knew what a kind and gentle man he was. I truly feel blessed that he was a part of my life; till we meet again, rest in peace "Dad" Monahan.

To Ed and Grace's family, My cousin who still lives in Bristol let me know about Ed's passing. He and Grace were such wonderful friends to my parents, Mick and Pearle Thompson. I know that after my father died, my mother was extremely grateful for the warmth you all extended to her. You included her in so many of your gatherings and it meant the world to her. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you say good-bye to Ed. He was such a fine man. Sincerely, Pat Graves (a.k.a.: Patty Thompson)
