I considered Rafael a very good friend. I was a dialysis patient w/ him in Forestville. My mother had drove Rafael home from dialysis a few times because he was so impatient to wait for that darn bus! He would bring in pictures of his grandchildren and share them w/ me often. Always a gloating grandpa! I loved to make him laugh and smile. My mother even got a peck on the cheek from him once and a while. He would sit there and flirt w/ her and all the ladies. Today was the first time I heard of his passing. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be there for any of the service for him. I miss him terribly. He was a wonderful man w/ a big heart! You will be in my prayers and I send my heartfelt condolenses to you all from both me and my mother. All my love,Kim
