Woolley, Doris L., 79, widow of Douglas R. Woolley of Bristol, died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at The Pines of Bristol. She was born in Bristol on April 8, 1930 and was a daughter of the late Rose (Dumont) Vokosky and stepdaughter of the late Henry Vokosky. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law Robert and Sandra Woolley of Bristol, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Albert Ghio of Waterbury, and Donna and Joseph Rossetti of Newington; a brother and sister-in-law Francis and Melba Vokosky of Payson, AZ, a daughter-in-law Jay Woolley of Orangevale, CA, several brothers and sisters-in-law, Joan and Dominic Campi of Winchester Center, CT, Normajean and David Lozinski of Bristol, Georgia Wojciechowski of Unionville, and George Suydam of Plainville; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Douglas H. Woolley, and two brothers, Henry Wojciechowski and Harold Aube. The family of Doris would like to thank the staff at The Pines of Bristol for the care and kindness given to Mrs. Woolley during her stay at The Pines. A graveside service will be held Thursday, 11am, February 18, 2010 in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, Meriden Exec. Park, 538 Preston Ave., P O Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450-1004 or to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 19 Jacobs St., Bristol, CT 06010.
