McDonald, Linda (Redman), 64, of Bristol, wife of Robert A. McDonald, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Bristol Hospital. She was born July 1, 1945 in Bristol and was a daughter of Arthur Redman, Sr. of Bristol and the late Ellen (Bida) Redman. She was a lifelong resident of Bristol. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class of 1963 at Bristol Central High School. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness, Bristol. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister and she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Besides her husband and father, Linda leaves a son and daughter-in-law SGT. Benjamin A. McDonald stationed in Iraq and his wife Nikki; four brothers, Arthur Redman, Jr., Paul Redman, Keith Redman and Mark Redman all of Bristol, four sisters Cele Czajkowski of Terryville, Carol Ouellette, Ruth Redman and Rachel Redman all of Bristol, a close sister-in-law Diane Jary of ALA and many niece, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2pm in Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness, 197 Jerome Ave., Bristol, CT. There are no calling hours. DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is in charge of arrangements.
