As my thoughts and prayers are for the Family of this wonderful man, I would ask the same back from them as well. Garry touched the lives of so many that it becomes almost overwhelming to think of masses that have been affected. I worked side by side with Garry for 8 years. During that time there was very little we didn't deal with together and for that i thank our heavely Father. I was proud to have him as my friend. for what it worth...I loved this man...for the examples he set...for the times we had...and for just being "G". God Bless You Garry...you will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the Pearson family. My father Robert Pickett was Garry's football coach at the Univ of Mass, my father passed away 2/3/2010 from injuries he suffered after being struck by a car. We heard about Garry's death at my dad's funeral. My dead would have been very upset with Garry's passing, so I pass along my prayers and thoughts along with my dad's as he is not able to do it himself. Please know that my family will have a place in our hearts for Garry and his family.
Sincerely,
Robbin Pickett

Over the last several months I made attempts to locate Gary thru Face Book & connected with 1 relative who did not know how to connect me but was able to inform me of his passing & I'm grateful that she did.
Gary & I grow up together, got into mischief together (of course I was following his lead, LOL). His family is & have been committed to improving peoples lives & safety through Love, Ministry & Community Service. It's amazing to see that Gary continued on that LEGACY with his life choices and we celebrate his LIFE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

I dont know what to really say as I am shocked. The times we spent together growing up in Bristol will be treausred as I looked up to you as another brother. Your athletic ability was incredible. Your bond with us was unbreakable. When Ocie died you were there for me and I will always thank you for that. I will miss you "cousin" and I know you are in a better place resting.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Pearson family. My relationship with Garry goes back to when we were kids when I used to spend a lot of time at my grandmother's house on Jerome Avenue (my last name used to be McKofke). Garry and I were good friends and then we ended up at BCHS. I remember Garry as a kind individual who always got along with everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and I will pray to our Loving Father and his holy spirit to comfort you at this time.

Very well like, respectable to everyone, and most of all he had a way of treating everyone fairly, staff included. So I offer my prayers to each and everyone of you.
