Trillo, Thomas Alphonse, 80, passed from this world into the arms of Jesus on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice Hospital in Branford. Thomas was born on August 8, 1929 in New Haven, a son of the late Thomas and Maria (Busillo) Trillo. Mr. Trillo was a U.S. Army Veteran of four years in the service. He worked for Ingraham’s Clock Co. for 18 years and for the City of Bristol’s school system for 27 years before retiring in 1991.Thomas leaves his beloved wife Helen (Hoadley) Trillo of 50 years whom he devoted his life to. He also leaves his three daughters and their spouses; Mari-Lee Fiducia and her significant other Benjamin Moore of Bristol, Tammy Helming and her husband Jerry of Burlington, Tina Bilodeau and her husband Michael of Bristol; his brothers, Victor and his wife Dorothy of Plymouth, Alphonse of Bristol; his sister Ann Manware and her husband Michael of Southington, his Aunt Sylvia Orticari of Bristol, a sister – in – law Geraldine (McGinn) Trillo, his grandchildren, Michael, Rachael and Matthew Fiducia, John Anderson, Sarah and Joseph Bilodeau, along with several nieces, nephews, and his faithful cats, Sir Thomas and Gremmie. He was predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Angelo, and Mario Trillo. He was a devoted and loving husband, caregiver, father and grandfather. His passion was repairing Radio and Televisions - a business that he owned for over thirty years. His nickname was T.V. Tom. He loved to drive everywhere and took us to many places to make some life long memories. He will be truly missed by all of us. Calling hours will be at Dupont Funeral Home 25 Bellevue Ave. in Bristol on Tuesday November 17, from 4pm to 7pm. The Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10am. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bristol.
